We are looking for a dynamic, self-motivated person to take responsibility for the property maintenance of our Wellington, Paraparaumu and Palmerston North centres.  You may on occasion, be required to travel to other sites throughout the country and oversee external contractors.  In this diverse, hands-on role, you will be responsible for a wide range of maintenance duties and therefore basic electrical, plumbing, building, gardening and carpentry skills and knowledge is essential.  Working in a sector where safety is a top priority, this position requires someone who is able to respond to needs immediately.  After hours duties and security call-outs are also part of the job. 

Professionalism, sound problem-solving ability, good organisational and communication skills, efficient time management and the ability to use tools and equipment safely, are key requirements of this role.  As heavy lifting is needed at times, a good level of health and fitness is required.  You will hold a valid driver’s licence, be able to drive a manual vehicle and agree to a police vet check.
