We are looking for a a new part time/job share cook to join our team.  This job share role would be for a Thursday and a Friday, 8 hours per day.  Your experience with working with vegetarian foods, someone that is use to cooking in large portions and most importantly a team player.

As Cook, your primary focus is ensuring that all food preparation, presentation and cooking techniques are carried out according to the established recipes, policies and procedures. 

Being able to cater and understand catering for dietary/allergy requirements is a must! You will be preparing and cooking nourishing vegetarian meals for approximately 100 children each day. 

This in an integral role in the centre, that requires you to be a confident Cook, who takes pride in all areas of your responsibility. You will need to have strong organisational and time management skills and be a clear communicator. There will be some cleaning and laundry tasks required as part of this busy role.  

Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa. Kindercare police vet all potential employees.
