As full-time Assistant Cook/Chef, your focus is to assist in ensuring that all food preparation, presentation, and cooking techniques are carried out according to the established recipes, policies and procedures. You will be supporting the preparation and cooking of nourishing vegetarian meals for approximately 200 children per day. Being able to cater and understand catering for dietary/allergy requirements is a must!
This is an integral role in the centre, that requires you to be a confident Cook/Chef, who takes pride in all areas of your responsibility. You will need to have strong organisational and time management skills and be a clear communicator. There will be some cleaning and laundry tasks required as part of this busy role.
This is a full time, 40 hours per week position. For this role you need to have a clear and concise understanding and speaking ability of the English language. You will have strong communication skills, enjoy working with others and being around children.
